Promotion of scientific measures for the conservation of the genetic diversity of wild plant species and forms in their natural habitat as part of the ecosystem, in particular also the protection of wild herbs referred to as 'weeds', their conservation, propagation and reintroduction; measures for endangered plant species and their biotopes; promotion of biological plant protection and the conservation of 'wild' relatives of commonly used crop plants; the purpose is realized in particular through projects that directly serve the implementation of scientific results into practice; taking into account the importance of plant diversity, in particular in the food chain of wild and domesticated animal species, for the economy, especially in the agricultural, forestry, food and pharmaceutical sectors; does not pursue any profit; exclusively and directly fulfills public-benefit purposes.
