The foundation aims to promote music, in particular by providing financial support to private and public institutions for music events based or performing in Switzerland, including tax-exempt institutions that support the aforementioned; financial support to private and public institutions for the training of musicians (instrumentalists and singers, including amateurs) based or trained in Switzerland; financial support to musicians (instrumentalists and singers) with a connection to Switzerland; provision of instruments to musicians with a connection to Switzerland; financial support to ensembles, orchestras and choirs based or performing in Switzerland; financial support to composers with a connection to Switzerland. The foundation focuses on promoting classical and E-music. The foundation is primarily active in Zurich (city and canton) and throughout Switzerland within the scope of its purpose; it may also occasionally support institutions and individuals based or resident abroad within the scope of its purpose. The foundation is non-profit and does not aim to make a profit.
