The association pursues the following purposes: Rescue and placement of dogs in need and threatened with death in a shelter, as well as abused and homeless dogs, mainly from Romania, with individuals and organizations that credibly demonstrate a species-appropriate and conscientious care for these animals. The association is another seat in Switzerland, acting in the same sense as the association Streunerfreunde-Lugoi Romania e.V. (Germany), and all available financial resources are made available as follows: Food; care and castration of homeless dogs; placement of dogs in Switzerland in cooperation with the association Streunerfreunde-Lugoj Romania e.V. based in Germany, provided that there is a corresponding authorization in Switzerland by the Veterinary Office SG; support for dogs in need in Switzerland; support for dog owners in need in Romania; veterinary care for animals whose owners cannot afford the costs of veterinary care due to social hardship; promotion of animal welfare through education and awareness-raising for the species-appropriate treatment of animals; financial, technical or material support for animal welfare organizations and projects. Collaboration with other animal welfare organizations to improve the conditions for dogs on site. The association exclusively and directly pursues non-profit purposes. It does not aim to make a profit and does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes. It is politically and denominationally independent. The association acts selflessly. The association's funds may only be used for the purposes specified in the statutes. Members do not receive any benefits from the association's funds. Purpose-bound donations are used in accordance with their purpose.
