The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage, finance and sell participations in other companies of any kind in Switzerland and/or abroad, with the exception of businesses prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, take over representations and engage in any business activities and conclude contracts of any kind that may be beneficial to the company's purpose or are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. It may acquire, hold, encumber and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad, with the exception of businesses prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad. The company may participate in group financing, in particular by granting loans to its direct or indirect parent companies as well as their or its direct or indirect subsidiaries or other group companies, or by providing security of any kind for their liabilities to third parties, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of assets or guarantees of any kind, even if such loans, securities or guarantees are in the exclusive interest of the group companies and are granted free of charge.
