The foundation provides financial, material and logistical support to promote sustainable energy projects for people in structurally weak regions, particularly in African developing countries. Primarily, the foundation supports its own initiated projects, in particular the construction and operation of photovoltaic mini-power plants (suncubes) as well as consulting services for their maintenance to produce sustainable and reliable energy. The foundation can also pursue its purpose with other means and implement other projects to promote renewable energies and energy efficiency. To fulfill its purpose, the foundation also works closely with companies, institutions and experts as well as with local governments. The foundation can be active in Switzerland and abroad, it can acquire properties to the extent that the acquisition is necessary and reasonable to achieve the foundation's purpose. The foundation is denominationally and politically neutral. The foundation has a non-profit character, is not profit-oriented and does not pursue any commercial purposes.
