In Switzerland and abroad, with the exception of transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad, the acquisition, holding, management, leasing, operation, marketing, sale, and pledging of real estate with exclusively commercial use, investment in and development of such commercial real estate, including planning work, construction, renovation, or expansion, as well as the provision of any related services. The Company may, in Switzerland or abroad: (i) carry out any financial activity (including issuing bonds), commercial or industrial activity - movable or immovable (only in connection with real estate with exclusively commercial use) - and conclude any contract and carry out any other activity likely to develop its purpose or in direct or indirect relation thereto; (ii) hold, acquire, exploit, and sell any intellectual property rights in direct or indirect relation to its purpose; (iii) create and finance branches or subsidiaries; (iv) participate in any enterprise having a direct or indirect relation to its purpose; and (v) grant loans and provide securities, including by means of pledging or transferring ownership of the Company's assets as collateral and by means of guarantees of any nature, for a consideration or free of charge, as well as direct or indirect financing, including within the framework of cash pooling agreements, to direct or indirect subsidiaries, direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, or to third parties, with the exception of transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad. The Company is part of a group of companies and may, as such, take into account the interests of this group in pursuing its purpose.
