Swiss Cornea Stiftung

The purpose of the foundation is to plan, implement and support projects that deal with measures aimed at improving the living situation of people with corneal diseases. The purpose of the foundation is achieved, among other things, through the promotion and coordination of organ, tissue and cell transplants in Switzerland; the promotion and coordination of prophylactic and therapeutic measures that counteract the development or deterioration of corneal diseases; the promotion of research in the field of corneal diseases and transplantation surgery; public information; and the publication of results. The foundation can enter into cooperations as long as the tasks resulting from them do not contradict the purpose. In particular, it can act on behalf of cantonal or federal authorities.
