The purpose of the company is the production of and trade in cosmetic products, development and exploitation of manufacturing processes and industrial property rights, taking over and granting of licenses as well as acquisition and permanent management of participations in domestic and foreign enterprises of all kinds. In addition, the company may establish branches and subsidiaries, acquire, hold, manage and dispose of participations in domestic and foreign enterprises, acquire, lease or rent, hold, encumber and dispose of real estate, both domestically and abroad. The company is part of the Beiersdorf Group and aligns its business activities, where permissible, with the group's objectives. Accordingly, the company may enter into contracts in the interest of the group or individual group companies (including their direct or indirect parent companies as well as their direct or indirect subsidiaries). The company may provide financial services to its direct and indirect shareholders and other affiliated companies, in particular grant loans or other financings and provide securities of all kinds for their liabilities, including by way of pledges on, or security transfers and assignments of, assets of the company or by way of guarantees and sureties of all kinds, for a fee or not. The company may also participate in cash pooling operations within the group and raise and invest money in the money and capital markets. For this purpose, the company may also act in the interest of the group or individual group companies. The company may engage in all other commercial, financial or other transactions that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose.
