Advocating for high-quality psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care for mentally ill people in line with current medical knowledge, the guidelines of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMW) and the ethical principles of the Geneva Pledge (modernized Hippocratic Oath). 3. Democratizing and further developing the psychiatric professional representation in accordance with the Swiss Governance Standards for Non-Profit Organizations. 4. Advocating for free doctor choice and direct access to psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment in basic insurance. 5. Maintaining international and particularly European contacts in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy.
