The association aims to promote and strengthen the connection and professional exchange between Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and conventional medicine. This purpose is achieved in particular through the following measures: Regular organization of an academic conference under the title Swiss Forum TCM & Conventional Medicine; Strengthening the connection of our society with training institutions and practices, as well as with the public; Setting up an internet platform for the purpose of academic exchange; Organizing participation in related academic activities of the corresponding international organizations for Swiss TCM and conventional medicine; Strengthening interdisciplinary academic exchange and cooperation, as well as disseminating the combination of TCM and Western medicine in their clinical applications and corresponding research to a broad audience. The association pursues exclusively non-profit purposes, is independent and remains politically and religiously neutral.
