Swiss Tamil Co-ordinating Committee (STCC)

The association is committed to preserving and promoting the Tamil language, culture, history and spirituality, as well as the well-being and mental health of the Tamil community in Switzerland. It strives for a harmonious coexistence with the Swiss population and is politically committed to the rights of Tamils, particularly Eelam Tamils, including their right to self-determination and human rights, and actively works to protect them. The association cooperates with the Swiss government, non-governmental organizations and international organizations to promote and defend these rights. Additionally, it organizes the annual Maaveerar Day to commemorate the martyrs, supports their families and wounded fighters, preserves cultural symbols and records, seeks a political solution for the sovereignty of the Tamil people, and promotes the skills of young people both in Switzerland and in their home country.
