Swiss Timber Engineers Association of Construction

The STE-AoC aims to maintain the professional authority and independence of planning companies that provide intellectual services for the built and natural environment based on wood and other biobased building materials. The STE-AoC achieves its purpose by: promoting public acceptance of the widespread use of wood as a building material in the sense of holistic, prudent and ecological responsibility; strengthening the Swiss wood chain and membership as a board association of Lignum, Wood Industry Switzerland; efforts to secure an attractive, forward-looking form of professional practice in the face of environmental and economic change; promoting the activities and quality of the services of the member companies; representing the interests of the member companies.
