The SWISSBIMALLIANCE sees itself as an interest platform for its members, supporting them in their short- and long-term needs. It primarily operates in Switzerland. The goals are to be achieved in particular through: Transparent information on industries that can achieve added value through the application of digital tools in accompaniment, development, control, planning, production, and operation of buildings. This is done by promoting and fostering competencies and understanding of the application and handling of the contents of "Building Information Modeling" (BIM) and "Virtual Design, Construction and Operation" (VDCO). The added values apply to the entire digital and physical lifecycle of the building. They are added values that are directly or indirectly useful to the business activities of the members or society; Collaboration with companies, universities, and other partners to strengthen research, education, and innovation with a focus on knowledge generation and knowledge exchange, which benefits application-relevant topics in the context of BIM and VDCO. This enables the awarding of contracts to members or external parties that serve the goal positively; Public relations and information work using media such as: internet platforms, physical platforms, events, courses, publications, media partnerships, trade fair presence, contacts, research projects, mandates, lobbying in industry, education, industry, or politics, etc.; Information and exchange on activities, projects, and experiences related to BIM and VDCO in Switzerland and abroad; Open or closed events that provide insight into the practice and activities of members or external actors, serving knowledge distribution, business development, and interdisciplinary and/or cross-industry exchange; Specialist, research, and project activities involving members or external partners that serve the implementation of the association's goals. The association's funds may only be used for the purposes specified in the statutes. No natural or legal person may be favored by expenses that are foreign to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration.
