Except for operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE), the company's purpose is to engage in: family governance and management of family projects, including, in particular, within this framework, the acquisition, sale and management of Swiss and foreign companies, the enhancement of assets, financing, investment, securities and real estate transactions, purchasing, selling, tax planning, financial consulting and philanthropic consulting; the acquisition, sale and management of participations in Swiss and foreign companies. It is specified that the company may only acquire real estate in Switzerland that serves as a permanent establishment, and that the acquisition of participations in real estate companies in Switzerland will be limited to companies whose purpose is the acquisition of permanent establishments. The company may, in Switzerland or abroad, engage in all activities, create branches, acquire or establish companies with an identical or similar purpose, carry out all financial, commercial, securities, real estate and other transactions, and conclude all contracts that are suitable for developing its purpose or are directly or indirectly related to it. It may grant guarantees, make loans or advances to shareholders or third parties.
