The company's purpose is to buy, sell, hold, administer and manage all types of shareholdings in companies in the healthcare sector, both in Switzerland and/or abroad, with the exception of companies (with headquarters in Switzerland) whose purpose is the acquisition of real estate as defined in the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (LFAIE); to grant loans and/or other forms of direct or indirect financing (including, but not limited to, cash pooling agreements) to its direct and indirect subsidiaries and/or to third parties, including its direct and/or indirect shareholders as well as the direct and indirect subsidiaries of these shareholders; to provide guarantees of any kind, whether remunerated or not, and/or any other form of security, whether remunerated or not, to one or more shareholders, to one or more companies in the group to which the company belongs and/or to one or more third parties, in order to guarantee the commitments and/or obligations of one or more shareholders, of one or more companies in the group to which the company belongs and/or of one or more third parties, provided that this is in the interest of the company.
