The Association is established for the purpose of pursuing the following non-profit objectives: combating poverty, in part by promoting the global inclusion of disadvantaged and unbanked populations; developing scientific solutions and models for blockchain-based services, including, by way of example and not exhaustively, the exchange of digital and other assets; contributing to the development of industry technologies globally in order to ensure and improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and competitiveness of blockchain-based services; providing comprehensive problem-solving capabilities for inclusive financial service supply chains; facilitating the exchange of information and advice between industry operators and other stakeholders; initiating and developing collaborations and consortia for the development of ideas aimed at solving problems; enabling the realization of associated development projects through collaboration with universities and other research institutions; disseminating useful information globally; cooperating with other organizations that pursue the same or similar interests or joining them; carrying out all activities and taking all necessary and appropriate actions to pursue the aforementioned objectives; pursuing any other non-profit and public interest objective decided by the Association in accordance with this Statute. In order to pursue the aforementioned objectives, the Association will not offer any commercial services or engage in any commercial activities, but will delegate the performance of such activities, such as management or administrative services, to the extent necessary, to third parties. Without limiting the general scope of the foregoing, Telcoin Association will not offer any commercial services for profit. The association is apolitical and non-denominational.
