The Bastions Foundation

The Foundation is non-profit and will not engage in any profit-making activities. The Foundation's main purpose, in Switzerland and abroad, is to work in the fields of culture, medicine, education, science and the arts, the environment and human rights. The Foundation may also intervene in the food, humanitarian, child assistance sectors as well as for the elderly or disadvantaged. The Founder reserves the right, subject to prior authorization by the Supervisory Authority, to modify or adapt the purpose or organization of the Foundation, no earlier than from the tenth anniversary of its constitution or since the last modification of the purpose or organization required by the Founder, in accordance with Article 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
