The foundation aims to research, disseminate, preserve and promote the artistic legacy of Hannah Villiger. This includes, among other things, lending works for exhibitions, selling works or donating works to museums or other art institutions. The foundation can support artistic projects financially or through loans, such as: exhibitions in museums with financial contributions, e.g. for printing a catalog, transportation, general costs, etc.; co-designing and participating in exhibitions with its own staff; providing ideological and financial support for scientific work; providing ideological and financial support for artists; awarding a prize for artists. The foundation has an exclusively non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. All proceeds from the sale or loan of works and/or archive material are to be used exclusively for expenses in accordance with the foundation's purpose.
