The purpose of the non-profit association is to develop and support standards and guidelines for data ownership, data transfer and data evaluation, directly and indirectly, which accelerate the digital transformation, promote the stability of the data economy and international cooperation, which are essential for increasing data savings, productivity, job creation and economic prosperity in the data economy. The association serves data agents, data exchanges and data authorities. It promotes sustainable growth and prosperity for all its members and society in general and acts as a global service hub in all data-related matters. The association can take necessary and suitable measures to achieve the aforementioned purpose, plan and implement initiatives, and participate - also financially - in initiatives of other organizations or financially or otherwise support other organizations or individuals, as long as all these activities serve the purpose of the association. The association can also accept donations from third parties and act as a trustee in pursuit of its purpose. The association does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
