The Association aims to operate in international cooperation based on the current legislation on international non-governmental organizations: European Convention on the Recognition of the Legal Personality of International Non-Governmental Organizations. Concluded in Strasbourg on 24 April 1986. Approved by the Federal Assembly on 20 June 1990. Instrument of ratification deposited by Switzerland on 24 September 1990. Entered into force for Switzerland on 1 January 1991. Recommendation CM/Rec (2007) 14 of the Committee of Ministers to member states on the legal status of non-governmental organizations in Europe (adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 10 October 2007 at the 1006th meeting of the Representatives of the Ministers). The Association operates in the fields of international cooperation and the promotion and affirmation of Human Rights, also through initiatives aimed at their effective implementation; defend and protect individuals who turn to the Association due to violations of Human Rights perpetrated against them; support morally, socially and materially, as far as possible, individuals in economic and existential difficulty; promote a culture of peace and solidarity, also through the coordination and activity of volunteers in the territory; identify resources for the realization of projects with a high moral and humanitarian purpose, consistent with the philosophical ideas underlying the principles shared by the Founding Members of this Association. The choice of projects to be supported must be subject to the scrutiny and approval of special internal commissions, constituted by members of the Board of Directors, also possibly accompanied by professionals and/or external private entities expert in their fields of reference, from time to time appointed for the occasion. The purpose may also be pursued through the organization of conferences, training courses with programs aimed at personal and professional growth, cultural events, including sports, cultural and scientific activities and missions, publications and audiovisual and printed productions, promoting agreements with national and international entities and organizations, using members' resources, researching public and private funds, promoting fundraising and/or crowdfunding actions, and managing or participating in activities and initiatives with the aforementioned purposes. The Association operates in full respect of Universal Law, Natural Law, and International Law.
