Theodor und Ida Herzog-Egli - Stiftung

The primary purpose is to promote medical research and education. This purpose is to be achieved through grants for research purposes, whether to institutes of the University of Zurich or to individual researchers who have dedicated themselves to the study of diseases and ways to combat them in a particularly meritorious manner; through study grants to talented medical students who cannot finance their studies from their own resources or those of their parents, or only partially; and through contributions to the further training of doctors in specialized fields. Furthermore, contributions can be made to non-profit institutions that take care of needy members of the liberal professions who have fallen into difficulties through no fault of their own. This purpose can also be pursued through direct provision of support.
