The foundation aims to preserve and maintain the musical and artistic heritage of Tina Turner. It can promote related artistic representations of any kind, such as singing, dancing, composition, film, or new media forms. The foundation can also promote music and corresponding artistic representations in general, as well as the organization of exhibitions in the musical field. It can foster music education, musical training and further education of students and pupils, and special musical and cultural events both nationally and internationally. To achieve these goals, the foundation can, among other things: award scholarships to needy students; provide support contributions to public or private non-profit institutions or individuals. The foundation is non-profit and does not pursue any economic or self-help purposes. It is authorized to establish other legal entities in Switzerland or abroad and to acquire and hold participations in other domestic and foreign legal entities, as well as to acquire real estate and intangible rights, to the extent that this serves the fulfillment of its non-profit purpose according to paragraph 1 above. The foundation can also cooperate with other organizations to fulfill its purpose and promote such organizations. The board of the foundation can set priorities for the pursuit of the purpose and freely decide on the allocation of the foundation's assets and distributions.
