The company's purpose is the certification activity, understood as the activity of evaluating and certifying the conformity of products, services, processes, management systems, professional figures and dependent personnel to requirements provided for by binding provisions such as regional, national, European and international standards, regulations, technical rules or tender notices, or to voluntary requirements; and in particular product certification; certification of quality management systems, environmental, workplace safety, and IT, with particular reference to electronic data processing activity, and in general business management systems and personnel certification; inspection, analysis, testing, testing and verification activities of materials, components, products, plants, equipment, devices, procedures and systems; laboratory activity, fixed or mobile, of testing and analysis also at third parties, and the performance of instrumental tests. The aforementioned activities are carried out as an independent third party and in the absence of conflicts of interest, in accordance with European directives, laws, regulations or national decrees or binding or voluntary standards, or reference standards or technical specifications, and may have a mandatory or voluntary nature; such activities are carried out in compliance with the requirements that certification bodies, inspection bodies and laboratories must have, as provided for by the relevant European legislation, the competent ministerial authorities and the accreditation body. Furthermore, it may carry out, in compliance with the legal constraints, limits and prohibitions, any other instrumental operation for the achievement of the company's purpose, or provide all those services and take those industrial, commercial, financial, real estate and financial initiatives abroad and in Switzerland, within the limits allowed by the LAFE, which are deemed useful and necessary for the aforementioned purpose, including the acquisition of stakes in companies and entities established or to be established with a similar, connected or instrumental object, as well as the issuance of guarantees and other guarantees, these activities being carried out without a prevailing character and not towards the public.
