The association aims to promote inter-institutional and interdisciplinary cooperation in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care of patients with primary bone and soft tissue tumors (including all sarcomas). It promotes the bundling of professional expertise, education, training and research, as well as the coordination of resources to improve the quality, outcome and cost of treatment. The association organizes and maintains a permanent expert panel and a database with the aim of developing, reviewing and continuously updating quality indicators to provide maximum transparency for patients, lawmakers and other interested parties. The association can carry out research projects with national and international partners and enter into collaborations.
