The association aims to acquire and renovate the Wägerhus Karlimatta on the Flüelapassstrasse, municipality of Davos, with the goal of operating a museum on the history of the Ruttner and Wegmacher in historical times. The association can also take up other themes in exhibitions of temporarily fixed duration. The association directly and indirectly supports the inclusion of other historical objects, special landscape forms, as well as flora and fauna in the immediate and wider surroundings of the Wägerhaus in its museum and exhibition concept. This can include, among other things, integrating the remaining historic road section on the opposite side of the street into the permanent exhibition. It thus also makes a contribution to a gentle and sustainable tourist use and wants to put the history of the pass crossings into the current context and make it tangible for interested visitors and tourists. The association generally aims to promote knowledge of the history of the pass crossings in the municipality of Davos, the canton of Graubünden and the Alps as a whole. The association aims to make a content-related contribution to the prehistoric to modern history of the Flüelapass in particular and the Alpine crossings in general. To this end, the association can initiate and carry out scientific work independently or in cooperation with third parties, as far as means, personnel and facilities permit. The association can also engage in commercial activities with parts of its activities and thus contribute to the financing of its goals. The association can cooperate with other organizations to achieve its goals.
