The non-profit foundation supports institutions, organizations, projects and activities in the following areas: medical research, particularly in the fields of cancer and diabetes; health, care and support, including care for relatives at home; environment, nature and sustainability, including promoting children's understanding of nature, forests and behavior in nature; education of young people and young adults, in general and specifically in skilled trades; relief of distress, particularly due to natural or humanitarian disasters or precarious financial circumstances. The foundation can carry out all activities that fall within the scope of its purpose or are related to it. To fulfill its purpose, it can cooperate with suitable institutions and organizations, support them or establish and operate them itself. The foundation fulfills its purpose throughout Switzerland and abroad. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
