TREUHANDISUISSE is a central association and, as an umbrella organization, aims to unite professional and employer associations whose members are active in the field of fiduciary services in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Its goal is to maintain, promote and represent the reputation and interests of the profession. The association's main tasks are: promoting the training and further education necessary for the exercise of the fiduciary profession; conducting diploma and professional examinations for fiduciaries and their staff; issuing professional rules for members of the sections and issuing rules for professional conduct; creating institutions and framework conditions that facilitate the exercise of the profession; protecting the interests of section members in the exercise of their profession; promoting relations between sections and their members; publishing its own journal, which is also the association's publication organ; supporting, promoting and publicizing any developments that directly or indirectly serve the fiduciary industry; operating a self-regulatory organization (SRO) in accordance with Art. 24 GwG through an SRO commission, which issues its own statutes, regulations and arbitration rules, approved by the Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA. The SRO issues technical guidelines to its members independently.
