Internationally, the research, development and production of new or improved food, dietary, parapharmaceutical and chemical products, as well as their marketing, import and/or export. The Company may establish branches, subsidiaries and agencies in Switzerland and abroad. The Company may also participate in other companies in Switzerland or abroad that are directly or indirectly related to its main purpose, acquire, own and sell real estate within the limits of the Swiss Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners, and engage in any other commercial, financial or other activity. The Company may also participate in all commercial, financial and industrial enterprises. The Company conducts its business in accordance with the objectives of the group to the extent possible. Therefore, the Company may, in the interest of the group companies or one of them (including group companies that hold it, directly or indirectly, as well as their direct or indirect subsidiaries), enter into contracts and, in particular, grant loans or other forms of financing to these group companies and provide all kinds of collateral for their obligations, including through pledges, transfers or assignments for security purposes of the Company's assets or through guarantees of any kind, whether for consideration or not.
