The Uzbek Association of Afghanistan is a socio-cultural society, not a political organization, which in its activities is committed to national reconciliation, historical and cultural values of Afghanistan and advocates for the rights of Afghans. The UVAS cannot be affiliated with any political party. This association does not belong to any political group and refrains from any activity in favor of one or another political group. The association is against any form of discrimination based on ethnicity, language, kinship, and regional disadvantage and strongly opposes all such acts. This association is not founded for personal enrichment or self-interest and is not inheritable. The voluntary assembly of Afghans living in Switzerland for the purpose of understanding, protection, and development of national and cultural values through cooperation. The creation of opportunities for training on religious, linguistic, cultural, and social issues. Through the diverse cultural and artistic nature, for example, the establishment of a library, publication of a magazine, broadcasting of a radio or television program, distribution of literary, historical, and cultural pieces, and through the internet, to make itself known. The celebration of national, historical, and religious holidays of Afghans. The maintenance of communication with other like-minded Afghan associations in Switzerland. The striving for the integration of Afghans into Swiss society and awareness of local laws. The creation of conditions with the intention of acquainting Afghans with Swiss society and its order. The creation of broad opportunities for the participation of women in society.
