The purpose of the association is to promote youth and implement experiential education projects or meaningful leisure and holiday offers for: a) people with disabilities or behaviorally disturbed young people; b) young people and young adults from socio-pedagogical institutions and facilities of semi-stationary and ambulatory youth welfare; c) members of youth organizations, students, apprentices; d) students and adults in crisis situations. If the association's own structures and assets (e.g. ship) are not fully utilized, the offer can also be extended to other groups. However, the target groups described in a-d always have priority and precedence. These target groups should have the opportunity to gather intensive social or personal experiences through the association's activities (projects), receive support in personal development, or relax in a healthy atmosphere. In addition to land-based activities such as hiking, mountain tours, and cycling, water-based activities such as sailing on inland lakes and the sea should also be included. Sailing should not be an end in itself, but rather a means of promoting self-reliance education, maturity, willingness to take responsibility, and social integration from a socio-pedagogical perspective. To achieve these goals, the association can rent, charter, acquire, provide, and maintain suitable things that serve the land- and water-based association activities. The association's activities are not profit-oriented. The association can also cooperate with other carriers.
