He operates a non-profit Southeast Europe competence center and laboratory for transdisciplinary and transmedia work; promotes cultural, intellectual and journalistic exchange between Switzerland and the Balkans or between different Balkan countries, for example through cooperation projects, expertises, events (exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, excursions, etc.) and products of all media (photography, print, radio, TV/video, documentary film, social and digital media); maintains a broad network of independent individuals throughout the region and enters into both project-based collaborations and strategic partnerships; conducts independent research on contemporary and current topics in the spirit of peace promotion in order to counterbalance nationalist narratives with balanced, substantial and interesting reports; provides comprehensive and independent reporting beyond stereotypes for Swiss media in the form of a convergent collective correspondence; can manage an operating, research and development fund. Within the framework of the operating fund, the association rents premises in Belgrade and seeks cooperation with media houses, foundations as well as private and public donors for this purpose.
