The association promotes the integration of foreigners, asylum seekers and refugees in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The association aims to provide Christian-social-diakonic assistance in the Basel region. It carries out its activities on a non-profit basis and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. The association seeks to achieve its goals through a) providing assistance to make everyday life more meaningful: opportunities to meet Swiss people, German language courses, sports activities (football, volleyball, etc.). b) Providing assistance through counseling sessions with public officials (involving interpreters if necessary). c) Building a network of volunteers, church communities, etc. to better represent the needs of asylum seekers and refugees in public and to utilize synergies for the work.
