The association raises public awareness of environmental problems, both regional and global, and seeks to prevent the impairment or destruction of the natural livelihoods of humans, animals, and plants, and to find solutions to these problems. It also aims to preserve and protect existing biotopes and other valuable flora and fauna. The association opens doors, builds bridges, and removes obstacles, particularly through public relations and lobbying, education and counseling, as well as the development and promotion of its own environmental technologies and procedures to provide special protection and support. These environmental technologies and procedures are used primarily in the areas of agricultural and forestry production methods and auxiliary materials (e.g., non-toxic pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, disinfectants, etc.) and in the recultivation of damaged landscapes and waters. This includes the recultivation or new development of previously unusable landscapes and waters, such as high mountain and permafrost regions, desert areas, and chemically or otherwise contaminated or polluted areas and/or waters. The association promotes understanding of nature and the various peoples and cultures of the earth. To this end, trips are organized. The association is politically, confessionally independent and linguistically neutral. Within the scope of its purpose, the association can establish institutions, hold participations in any legal form, grant licenses, engage auxiliary persons, found organizations, or support them through donations. This is done exclusively, silently, and anonymously. Any resulting economic activity of the association is permitted alongside the association's ideal purposes.
