The ig sted seeland association is a regional association of the KSE Bern. It represents the KSE Bern's stance (strategy and policy) in the region and works in coordination with it. The ig sted seeland association advocates at the regional level for the raw materials gravel, stones, and earth to be treated by authorities and the public on an equal footing with other raw materials of national importance in terms of their economic, legal, and ecological significance. The ig sted seeland association represents the common interests of its members and is authorized to raise objections and complaints to the extent that this serves the purpose of the association. The ig sted seeland association promotes: the securing of regional supply with mineral raw materials and landfill space through participation/support of regional ADT planning. It coordinates the interests of its members and acts as the competent representative of the industry in the region; the recycling of mineral construction materials in the region in the interest of conserving natural gravel deposits and landfill space. The ig sted seeland association advocates for the reputation of the regional stone, earth, and landfill industry in the public eye and among authorities. It actively communicates with authorities, administrations, economic associations, and the population. The ig sted seeland association provides a platform for its members for: exchanging information and ideas; forming working or project groups to pursue common goals; social and friendly contacts.
