The association is the carrier of the orchestra il pomo d'oro. The purpose of the association is to promote and develop the orchestra il pomo d'oro into a world-class orchestra with international appeal, particularly in the field of Baroque music. The association promotes and enriches the musical and cultural life in Switzerland and internationally through the organization of concerts and festivals as well as through music mediation. The association does not pursue any commercial purposes, does not strive for profit and is exclusively active for non-profit purposes.
