The association aims to promote start-up companies in the MedTech sector and, where meaningful, their settlement in the surrounding area of the Insel Campus Bern. The SSC achieves its goals through the following means and activities: Building and maintaining a network of leading partners and club members who become supporters, investors, and partners of the start-up companies. Accompanying start-up companies through coaching and consulting, as well as serving as a point of contact for potential entrepreneurs. Organizing club events with presentations of start-up companies and match-making/investor matchmaking. Promoting know-how and knowledge exchange, as well as partnerships between start-up companies. Renting out office space for start-up companies. Further activities in the interest of start-up companies and the MedTech location in the region and canton of Bern. The association is neutral in terms of denomination and politics. It does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit.
