The association aims to bridge the gap between predominantly socially oriented childcare institutions and the economy. To this end, it supports employers and parents in finding optimal childcare offers. It works closely with childcare institutions and coordinates existing offers. It specifically mediates childcare offers. It can create new childcare offers, namely through support and promotion of local self-help projects such as community children's crèches, lunch tables, training and pooling of day mothers. It promotes cooperation projects between employers and independent sponsors. The association can join forces with other childcare institutions, support them, found new ones, as well as establish and operate its own childcare facilities. The association does not pursue any profit-making objectives and any potential profit will be used exclusively for the association's purpose.
