The foundation pursues its purpose in two areas of activity: The first area of activity includes: a) The care, preservation and dissemination of the artistic work of Verena Loewensberg. b) The creation, organization and maintenance of the archive on the life and work of Verena Loewensberg. c) The content-related mediation of the artistic work of Verena Loewensberg, in particular through the initiation and support of exhibition activities and publications, as well as the granting of loans and permanent loans. d) The foundation can seek suitable institutions (museums, foundations, etc.) that can take over representative collections of Verena Loewensberg's work and use them in the sense of the purpose of this foundation. With the consent of the majority of all foundation board members, the foundation can also transfer the entire inventory of the artworks held by it to one or more suitable institutions (museum, foundation, etc.), provided that they guarantee that they will use the artworks in the sense of the foundation's purpose. e) The administration of copyrights related to the work of Verena Loewensberg, insofar as these are transferred to the foundation by the rights holders. f) The promotion, support and recognition of creative and research activities in the field of art and culture, in particular those related to Verena Loewensberg's artistic creation. The second area of activity includes: If the foundation is transferred assets, including real estate, that are not related to the life and work of Verena Loewensberg, the foundation can use these to promote and support projects and organizations in other artistic fields, namely musical and literary fields.
