The Company's purpose is to acquire, sell and manage participations in all industrial, commercial or financial enterprises, Swiss or foreign. The Company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The Company may acquire, hold, manage, pledge, develop and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad, as well as finance other companies, except for operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). The Company may grant loans, secured or unsecured, or provide guarantees or securities to shareholders, direct or indirect subsidiaries, parent companies or sister companies or third parties. Furthermore, it may operate or participate in cash pooling/centralization of net liquidity, including periodic balance adjustments, with companies of the group to which it belongs. The Company may also do all of this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest or other remuneration, excluding the Company's profit motive and incurring a concentration of risks. The Company may engage in all commercial, financial and other activities suitable to promote its purpose or related to it, taking into account, to the extent permitted by law, the interests and general orientation of the group to which it belongs.
