It unites companies that are active in the field of visual communication, i.e. in all areas of conception, design, production and distribution of processed, visible information. 2. viscom aims to protect the interests of its members in the areas of employer-employee relations, social policy, and all related areas of corporate, state, and economic policy. It advocates for a liberal and progressive design of working conditions and the preservation of a competitive location for the graphic industry in Switzerland. It supports and promotes its members within the framework of its guiding principles. 3. It promotes a fruitful cooperation between employers and employees and can conclude collective labor agreements and similar agreements with the representative employee associations and trade unions of the graphic industry for this purpose. On the other hand, it opposes unjustified demands from employees and supports its members through suitable measures in labor conflicts. 4. It represents the interests of the graphic industry and its members in its field of activity vis-à-vis other employer organizations, authorities, state institutions, employee organizations, and the public, particularly in the area of vocational basic and further training. It creates conditions for modern and professional job profiles, promotes basic training, and advocates for permanent further training. 5. viscom maintains a permanent protection fund with other organizations to cover damages to its members resulting from labor conflicts. 6. viscom can perform tasks for third parties. 7. viscom does not pursue any profit-oriented goals. 8. viscom can entrust third parties with tasks to achieve its purpose.
