The company's purpose is: the development, manufacturing, marketing, and representation of all devices and products in the field of microscopy, particularly microscope systems and related consumables, software, as well as optical, electronic, and mechanical devices and components; the provision of services in the field of microscopy such as the repair of microscope systems and the contract development of microscope systems and software; the exploitation of all inventions and achievements in the field of microscopy, as well as the acquisition, registration, enhancement, and transfer of all patents, licenses, sub-licenses, trademarks, technical procedures, and manufacturing secrets in this field; collaboration with universities and other research or educational institutions in the field of microscopy (for the complete purpose cf. statutes).
