The company aims to develop, create and operate heat and energy networks. It does this with the goal of generating, utilizing, distributing and trading renewable energy from lake water, waste heat from technical facilities, in particular the ARA Zimmerberg, and from biomass. The company supplies, in particular, the perimeter PI and P5 of the respective approved municipal energy plan with district heating. The company is authorized to acquire, encumber, sell and manage real estate in the country. The company can take on additional tasks in the field of renewable energy supply within the scope of its purpose, provided they are in a subordinate relationship to the purpose according to paragraph 1 and promote it. It can cooperate with other public and private institutions in the energy supply sector.
