1. The foundation is active in the areas of education, culture, health, human rights, development cooperation, climate and nature conservation, child and women's protection in Switzerland and abroad. 2. The foundation supports existing tax-exempt or tax-exempt non-profit organizations/projects worldwide, as well as initiates tax-exempt or tax-exempt innovative projects and activities that aim to provide better living conditions for a significant number of people. 3. The foundation can initiate its own projects, as well as provide technical or financial support to local organizations with comparable tax-exempt or tax-exempt purposes in Switzerland and abroad; this can be done in the form of grants, scholarships, microcredits, and knowledge transfer, among others. 4. Within the framework of its main purpose as defined in sections 1 to 3, the foundation can create or promote encounter forums that, as a secondary purpose, publicly deal with the history, significance, and future perspectives of worldwide, ecologically sustainable travel, as well as related topics such as travel as a school of life. 5. The foundation can also promote and support documentary films, publications, and exhibitions that serve general education and awareness-raising and cover the subject areas mentioned in section 1 above. 6. The foundation council is free to allocate the funds. There is no obligation to pursue all mentioned purposes or to support the pursued purposes equally. The principle of sustainability and impact generation must be taken into account when using the funds. 7. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purposes. It is politically and denominationally neutral. 8. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation can acquire, sell, and manage properties and land, as well as participations in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation can cooperate with other organizations and/or support them. It can establish and operate other legal entities or merge with them if the purpose permits.
