The foundation aims to promote and financially support all matters related to species and animal protection in a comprehensive sense, including, but not limited to, the preservation of biodiversity, the protection of animals in their natural habitats and in human care, the species-appropriate keeping of animals, and the improvement of the living conditions of animals. In fulfillment of its purpose, the foundation may, in particular: support or participate in existing, proven, or recognized institutions, organizations, projects, or foundations with the same or similar purposes and goals, provide direct support to individuals responsible for animal protection projects, create, promote, and manage its own projects, offers, or institutions, and take any measures to promote and preserve the legitimate interests of animal protection.
