The purpose of the foundation is to promote and support the confessionally neutral scouting movement in the cantons of St. Gallen, Thurgau and both Appenzell. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. The foundation council decides definitively on the activities of the foundation as well as the nature and scope of the services to the beneficiaries within the framework of the foundation deed. The services are determined by the foundation council at its own discretion and there are no legal claims by the beneficiaries against the foundation for the provision of services.
