The foundation can support the following individuals and institutions: Poor, socially disadvantaged or distressed former workers or employees of the former Kandergrund AG match factory and the Kandergrund AG mining company; Poor, socially disadvantaged or distressed citizens residing in the municipality of Kandergrund, who are cared for at home by relatives, acquaintances, the social or municipal authorities of the municipality of Kandergrund, or in old-age and nursing homes, sanatoriums, homes, special schools and hospitals in the municipalities of Adelboden, Aeschi, Frutigen, Kandergrund, Kandersteg and Reichenbach.
