The company's purpose is to supply shareholders and third parties with drinking, utility and fire-fighting water. To this end, it takes care of the procurement, management, treatment, transportation, storage and delivery of water to the local networks of the shareholders. The supply of water to water consumers and fire hydrant protection are the responsibility of the shareholders in their supply areas. To fulfill this purpose, the company has, in particular, the following tasks: a) Construction, operation, maintenance and renewal of all water supply, treatment, transportation, storage, remote control and metering systems; b) Takeover of such systems owned by third parties or those contributed by the shareholders as a contribution in kind or transferred to the company; c) Cooperation with the water supplies of the shareholders and third-party water supplies; d) Development and implementation of a water management concept; e) Water supply to water consumers who are not shareholders. The company may participate in other water supplies or merge with them, acquire and sell properties, and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company. The interests of public water supply take precedence over the pursuit of profit.
