The company's purpose is: a) To supply the population as well as commercial, industrial and service companies of the municipalities of Lützelflüh and Rüegsau and third parties with sufficient and qualitatively impeccable drinking, utility and fire-fighting water; b) to ensure the statutory hydrant fire protection for the shareholders; c) to take on further tasks corresponding to water supply by contract. To fulfill this purpose, the company has in particular the following tasks: a) The acquisition, construction and maintenance of its pipelines and hydrants with the associated facilities for the procurement, possible treatment, pumping and storage of water; b) cooperation with third-party water supplies; c) the creation and implementation of the general water supply plan (GWP); d) contractual water delivery to water consumers who are not shareholders. The company may participate in other water supplies or merge with them, acquire and sell properties, and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the company.
