The WVA Wüfla aims to ensure the supply of drinking water, service water, and water for fire-fighting purposes within the municipality's catchment area. It is authorized to acquire, create, operate, maintain, renew, and expand the necessary sources and facilities for this purpose. WVA Wüfla can produce energy for its own needs or procure it from third parties and conduct all related transactions. WVA Wüfla may, while observing the superior law and the competencies of the General Council, participate in companies, acquire or merge with similar or related companies. WVA Wüfla is managed on a self-sufficient basis according to business management principles. WVA Wüfla can acquire or dispose of real estate and enter into all transactions and conclude contracts that are suitable for promoting the purpose of WVA Wüfla, or that are directly or indirectly related thereto. The approval of the General Council is reserved for the transfer of rights and obligations from the performance contract as well as of performance networks and related facilities to third parties.
