The cooperative supplies the population, commercial, industrial and service companies with drinking and utility water within the available quantity. It ensures a quality that constantly complies with food legislation. The cooperative takes over the public water supply, including fire hydrant protection, for the districts of Entschwil and Allmiried on behalf of the municipality, in accordance with the agreement/regulation of June 28, 2006 (cooperative-municipality). Water can also be supplied to properties in adjacent sub-districts of the municipality of Diemtigen. The supply is regulated by water supply contracts between the parties responsible for supply, unless they are members of the cooperative. It constructs and maintains its pipelines and hydrants with the associated facilities for water procurement, possible treatment, pumping and storage.
